Damned If You Do, Damned If You Don’t

What to do with my life? This question can be a lifelong quandary itself. It includes so many intricacies and other questions it really becomes a wicked problem.

These daunting questions require dramatic decisions and riddle our lives with dilemma. We have opportunity, yet we suffer. No matter what we choose, there’s always a “what if?”

This feeling is natural, but it feels horrible. Knowing that we are damned if we do and damned if we don’t, many are struck by fear and suffer from analysis by paralysis.

The 2013 March 4 Issue of Forbes Magazine will shine a smiling Richard Branson on the cover with the heading “Retire Like A Rock Star.”

The size of Branson’s business venture list to date is outstanding and he continues progressing, creating and doing phenomenal things. He loves it.

In his video with Forbes, he’s beaming. He’s living like a rock star, asking why he would stop doing what he loves? If he was to stop working, he’d want to do what he’s been doing.

He’s living like a rock star because he never waited to retire to do what he loves, which brings us to the next question.
